Story
Why I coach fitness differently
I grew up around women who were constantly criticizing their bodies.
Food was talked about like the enemy.
There was guilt around eating.
Comments about weight and size were normal.
I absorbed that without even realizing it — struggling with food noise, control, and a complicated relationship with my body.
Over time, I realized something important:
That struggle wasn’t really about food or fitness.
It was about self-trust and self-worth.
That’s why I don’t coach through strict rules, shame, or pressure.
I don’t believe fitness should make you feel, more restricted, or constantly “behind.”

Fitness changed my body — but more importantly, it changed how I saw myself.
I didn’t grow up confident.
I was awkward, unsure of myself, and constantly questioning whether I was smart enough or capable enough to really be good at anything. That lack of confidence didn’t just affect how I felt in my body — it affected how I showed up everywhere in my life.
Fitness is where that began to change.
Not because I suddenly loved how I looked — but because it was the first place I committed to myself and proved that I could. I learned how to believe I was capable… and then I watched that belief show up physically.
And once that happened, everything else started to shift too.
I communicated more clearly.
I showed up more authentically.
I started creating, growing, and exploring who I actually was.
